Return of the Bitch

“Girls, do I need to say this again? My birthday is July 13th, which is weeks away and we still haven’t thought of a theme!” Massie Block barked at the Pretty Committee on her Iphone 5. She was making an important 5-way call to all of them, and she had no time to waste. Daddy practically paid a million dollars for this one call. 

Massie was in Hawaii and right outside the beach house, laying on the lawn chairs tanning while planning out her sixteenth birthday. Her Notes app was open on her Ipad 2 and she was writing down notes for her b-day party. Massie’s brunette hair was in a high sloppy bun while she wore a strapless yellow polka dot bikini and brown Dior sunglasses. 

“How about a Hawaiian theme?”  Alicia Rivera suggested.

“So 2012.” Massie scoffed. 

“1920’s theme, a.k.a. the Coco Chanel era.” Claire Lyons asked, hearing her chewing on her fingernails over the phone loudly.  Massie remembered that she told her countless times to wear that nail polish that has a bitter taste to it, but she wouldn’t listen.

“No way!” Massie said. ” It has to be something new, fresh, unique, and alpha-worthly.” 

“How about a bonfire?” Kristen Gregory asked.

“The theme is unique, exciting and alpha-esque. Cudo’s to Kristen for thinking of a great theme for my birthday party.” Massie smiled.

The girls cheered over the phone as Massie started writing down a menu for the Bonfire. The PC helped out to make the menu list and think of  an awesome food list for the party. Now all we needed to do was get an ah-mazing outfit, book flights for the girls to come to Hawaii and be fabulous by July 13th. 

Around three hours later after our phone call Massie’s Iphone 5 buzzed with a text. She checked my phone to see a text from Alicia:

Alicia: call me now!!!

Massie dialed Alicia, as immediately she answered her call to her. 

“What Leesh? This better, be important.” Massie asked. 

“It is Massie. I just got a call from my aunt and uncle from Spain.” Alicia started. ” And they told me Nina is coming with me to Hawaii.”

– I’m taking a leave of absence for a while. My cousin has recently died from cancer and it’s taken a bigger impact on me that I expected.  I’ll probably won’t post for a while, not until the middle of July. I hope you all understand what I’m going through.
